How To Join
Trockman recruits new members at the beginning of each semester following the Kelley Involvement Fair. A call-out meeting will take place, followed by the start of an application process. This consists of both a short application and an interview. We encourage all students of any intended major to apply to immerse themselves in a greater understanding of microfinance practices.
Opportunities and Expectations
New members have the opportunity to immediately participate in a wide range of activities, including assisting in committee projects, going on domestic and international trips, taking part in volunteer initiatives, and participating in educational activities during weekly meetings. However, all members must ultimately meet a set of requirements each semester to remain in good standing. These are outlined below.
PAY MEMBERSHIP DUES
Membership dues usually consist of $20 which assists in covering costs for trips, local events, and other Trockman operations
ATTEND TWO-THIRDS OF MEETINGS
Weekly meetings allow members to participate in educational presentations and activities and keep up to date on important announcements
ATTEND ONE VOLUNTEER EVENT OR EQUIVALENT
Trockman sponsors a variety of philanthropic activities tied closely with the food and hygiene pantry at the Monroe County United Ministries
